In addition to exploring new business lines such as underwater, IMEC is also expanding its scope into project management. IMEC aims to ensure the management of projects by planning, organizing, and directing their completion to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and the planned scope.
IMEC secured a significant contract to construct project management of ship building for Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT). The contract includes scope of work to evaluation & selection for the shipyard contractor, and supervise to ensure that the construction of the vessel is completed on time within budget and to the required specification. There were 4 (four) units ASD tug boats (Each Bollard Pull 50 Tonnes), 2 (two) units mooring boats (Each Bollard Pull 7 Tonnes), and 1 (one) patrol boat unit (Each Bollard Pull 3 Tonnes). The progress of these projects has been completed for all mooring and patrol boats. Currently, IMEC is focused on supervising the completion of the ASD tug boats.
IMEC also has completed assisted Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) by conducting an efficiency study on the operation of their existing Teras Kapal BRI and managing new ship building project for an fiber boat for the Labuan Bajo branch named “Nara Seva”.
