FSO Intan Replacement Project

The Belida Field was discovered in December 1989 with the Alu-Alu E-1 well. It is located in the South Natuna Sea Block B Production Sharing Contract Area offshore from the Republic of Indonesia in 250 feet (76.2 m) of water.
The FSO Intan is located approximately 1.5 miles from DPP-A. Export vessels are able to safely approach, moor in tandem, and receive export crude. In Q3 2018, MEDCO Energi intend to replace the turret moored FSO Intan with a spread moored FSO, named FSO Barakuda Natuna.
The FSO Intan decommissioning from Belida Field and the FSO Barakuda Natuna installation in field has been awarded to Fendercare Marine (Asia Pacific) by PT Armada Bumi Pratiwi Lines.
Scope of Work
- Provide transportation and sea fastening for cargo barge.
- Evaluate FSO Intan Station keeping during mooring line retrieval
- Provide transportation procedure and analysis for FSO
- Provide FSO Barakuda Station Keeping and installation procedure
