Marine Warranty Survey (MWS)

IMEC conducts technical surveys to ensure marine construction projects comply with recognized standards and acceptable risk levels. We issue approval certificates after thoroughly reviewing load-out, transportation, and installation documents. Our team ensures smooth engineering and preparation activities, including vessel and equipment surveys to verify their intended purpose.

IMEC has secured major MWS projects in Indonesia for long-standing clients such as Petronas, Premier Oil Natuna, Medco E&P Natuna, Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, as well as new client ENI Merakes East Ltd.

Currently, a significant challenge for IMEC in one of its MWS projects is the Sisi Nubi AOI project for Pertamina Hulu Mahakam. This project involves the load out, transportation, and installation of six platforms, implementing the platform design using Suction Piles technology for the first time in Indonesia. This innovative design reduces costs, time, and risks associated with offshore installation compared to the commonly used platform designs in Indonesia. Additionally, with this design, the platforms can be easily decommissioned (re-moved or re-located).
